Online Guided Film Groups

Searching for Ghosts in Cinema's Ruins

The slogan of this website is not something that can be done alone. It is a communal act. This is why I host (online) guided cinema groups on Sunday evenings (EST). The groups are not classes—they are loosely guided—but instead are intended to be a process of collective discovery on select topics, filmmakers, and film movements.

Each group will feature myself—Joshua Polanski, Rotten Tomatoes accredited film critic—and a smarter and friendly co-moderator.

All groups cost $35 for new group members or $20 for previous No Gods Left group members.

Currently Recruiting:

• Digital Cinema (starting January 17)

Past Groups:

• Political Documentary
• Discursions in Time: Slow and Poetic Cinema(s) (March - May 2026)
